AI process atlas · accounting software

Stop paying for a second bank feed.

Helix is the map of AI already in your ledger — and the extra programs you should not buy. One company. One-time license. The atlas keeps updating. Not a chatbot. Not another subscription.

Single business

One extra app costs more this year than Helix costs once.

Long run for one company: you keep one map as QBO, Xero, or Sage ships new agents. You do not pay Helix again. You stop paying monthly for a second bank feed or two AP inboxes.

Accounting firm

Stop re-learning AI on every client’s ledger.

Long run for a firm: one playbook on every file — QBO, Xero, Intacct, NetSuite. Capacity per accountant, not another research project per client. Atlas stays current. $990 once for this firm.

What the license actually names

Specific examples — not a brochure

  • QuickBooks Online

    Bank feeds

Already native in Banking. Helix tells a single business not to buy a second Plaid-class app.

  • QuickBooks Online

    Accounting Agent

Fall 2026: categorizes and fills missing detail. Helix names the reviewer — the agent does not sign the file.

  • QuickBooks Online

    Two AP inboxes

Snap + BILL on the same mailbox double-posts. The map picks one inbox and the setup button for it.

  • Xero

    JAX

Just Ask Xero is now standard on plans. Helix says: check the saved report before it goes to a board pack.

  • Sage Intacct

    Copilot vs dimensions

Do not buy Copilot and skip dimension design. Sequence is dimensions, then Copilot, then a close tool — not all three as the system of record.

  • Numeric

    On QuickBooks Online

Connect only after weekly rec and one AP inbox. TB sync, not NetSuite-depth. AI drafts flux; journals post in QBO. MCP last.

What to expect

The day you pay — then the long run

  1. 01

    Pay once

Studio $349 or Atlas $990 on the JG Pulse cart. Same email you used to create the account.

  2. 02

    Sign back in

Return to Helix. Claim the order if asked. Your workspace opens that day.

  3. 03

    Open your map

Visual tool map, native AI, the programs that work with your ledger, and setup buttons — for the software you licensed.

  4. 04

    Run the sequence

A 90-day Helix Map for this business. Native first. One path per job. A person still reviews.

From Joy

Why Helix exists

I’ve worked in accounting and finance my entire professional career. Helix is the map I wished every client had before they bought another AI tool.

I’ve sat with businesses at the beginning — consultancy, the accounts, how money actually moves — and I’ve stayed long enough to write the employment policies, the handbooks, and the standard procedures that keep the books honest after the excitement wears off.

Most companies eventually need a separate bookkeeper. That person is not automatically an advisor. A bookkeeper owns the file: coding, bank rec, payroll, close. An advisor uses a clean file to tell you what the numbers mean — cash, margin, risk, and what to do next. A lot of shops hire one person and expect both jobs. That’s how things get late, messy, and expensive.

There is a real chance now to save time and run a tighter close with AI. Not by replacing the bookkeeper, and not by handing the books to a chatbot. AI is already inside QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, Sage, and the rest: bank feeds, invoice capture, bill pay, expenses. The problem isn’t “is there AI?” The problem is which process it helps, which app you actually turn on, and what still needs a human.

A taste of the ledgers we map. After each name: what AI already lives in the software, and how many other AI programs work with it — not their names.

Adjacent finance

Then map your business, not a demo company.

After the license, the Helix mapper asks for industry, entities, ledger, adjacent stack, and where close actually hurts. It writes a 90-day sequence from the atlas — foundation first, agents last.

  • 01Name the ledger and the tools around it.
  • 02Mark the processes that are already on fire.
  • 03Get a Helix Map with now / next / later, enable steps, and watchouts.

QuickBooks Online is the spine. Four processes belong in the next 90 days.

A 40-person professional-services firm on QBO Advanced, BILL, Gusto, and Ramp. Pain: a 12-day close, lumpy payroll, and a capture path that double-posts Snap and BILL.

  1. Now — bank rec. Weekly feeds, kill duplicate capture.
  2. Now — AP automation. BILL as the only bill inbox.
  3. Next — payroll coding. Map Gusto burden off the lump account.
